Amy is a qualified naturopathic nutritionist. In her private practise she specialises in fertility nutrition and natural conception, helping women in their 30's and 40's restore their natural fertility, and prepare their bodies for a healthy pregnancy and birth. Amy was the first nutritionist I worked with on my own journey back to health who took the time to get to know me, to understand where I was and what I needed to build my body back up, and now we work together bringing much needed nutritional specialist advice to the many people who trust Enlightened Life to restore the health of their bodies and minds.
Maria Craven, Yoga (Yin & Restorative) & Pilates Teacher
Maria was drawn to Yoga and Pilates to help relieve stress and tension in her body, especially her lower back. With regular practice her body became stronger and pain in her lower back eased. She had previously worked for social services, desk bound for many hours and so is very passionate about correcting poor postural habits which can lead to pain and injury. She is a firm advocate of working safely with clients to ensure the correct muscles are being recruited in each exercise. In today's fast paced society, she feels many people are over stressing their bodies with vigorous exercise which may do more harm than good. She personally finds Yoga and Pilates a complete discipline to safely stretch and strengthen the body from the inside out
